Our home system of planets has long been assumed to be typical of other planetary systems that we might one day discover outside of our Solar System. However, as the list of other exoplanetary system discoveries has grown, we have begun to recognize the uniqueness of our Solar System.  Join an exploration of intriguing theories devised to explain the formation of our family of planets.
