Join Us in Support of the Library District We Love!
The Friends of the Winnetka-Northfield Public Library District is a not-for-profit organization of people who share a belief that a strong public library is essential for a thriving community. This special group of volunteers works to enrich and enhance the library experience for the residents of the Library District.
District programs funded all or in part by Friends of the Library support include:
- Summer and winter reading programs
- Historical and dramatic performances
- Art, travel, food, and cooking programs
- Studio and craft programs
- Cultural and educational lectures
- Animal, nature, and science programs
Annual, memorial, honorary and other donations are accepted throughout the year. Donations can be made via PayPal through our website or mailed to the library. If you wish to make a memorial donation, please enter the details into the Notes field when submitting your donation. To date, the Friends have raised over $300,000. The Friends are recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
