Program Description

Event Details

Through personally shot photos and videos of his time in Chernobyl, Stephen Quandt, an animal welfare worker who has cared for abandoned animals in disaster zones around the world, will tell the story of the dogs, the abandoned and mostly abandoned towns around the plant (Chernobyl City, and Pripyat), and the radiation's current effects on the dogs and the people in the exclusion zone. It is a surprisingly uplifting story of resilience, hope, life, and even heroism.
