Event Details

Film Historian Zbigniew Banas will provide an overview of the career of Alfred Hitchcock, the legendary British filmmaker, popularly known as the "Master of Suspense".  The hour-long program will focus on Hitchcock's innovative approach to cinema, including his ability to find new ways to generate tension within the story and use violence to explore the complex psychology of characters. The presentation will reference some of the director's most famous movies, including Rear WindowVertigo, and Psycho.
