Program Description

Event Details

Since the beginning of cinema, movies have functioned not only as a form of entertainment, but also as a tool of political persuasion. Some films have been used to disseminate propaganda, while others aimed to affect political change. Film professor Zbigniew Banas examines the evolving nature of political cinema and its power to capture the audience's attention through carefully controlled storytelling.
